Publishing companies have control. Frank Miller learned that he can assist and get things done right instead of protest like Moore. Snyder overdid 300. Enjoyable, but not the masterpiece so many people argue it to be. As far as Sin City, I really thought it was mediocre and kinda boring. I enjoy comic book movies, the best being Hellboy, but Sin City was too much style, too little substance.
