I'm not aware of anyone removing the photo. It is our policy not to edit a post from it's original form, so either your post would remain un-edited, or it would have been pulled completely.
In this case, I suspect the problem is actually the file type. The filename of your photo ends in a ".tif" extension, which indicates that this was a TIFF format file. The only formats we can currently accept are JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) or PNG (.png). Note that changing the name of the file won't help. You would actually need to convert the file to one of the two Web image standards (JPEG or PNG) prior to uploading it. We'll try to make that clearer in the system.
