Of course not, it would provide a reasonable rational answer - they don't want that. They want the mystery, the excitement, the publicity - the attention. Not much happens in Cuero and when it makes the front page of CNN.com for something other than Turkeyfest, they'll perpetuate that as long as they can. This is why I'd never be considered to do feature (or even guest) articles for the Cuero Record even if I beg, paid, pleaded or offered a human sacrifice (kidding people, I'm kidding) - because I am a skeptic by nature. And you know us skeptics, always spoiling everyone's fun by resorting to logic, reason and science.
