I do not believe that the DA's office in Victoria County is very interested in prosecuting sexual assault cases. Especially ones involving children. Having said that, let me add that the Victoria Police Department and the Special Crime Unit of the Sheriff's Department work very hard to get the scum off the street. There are several investigators with both entities who work diligently to bring these cases to justice. But, when presented to the DA's office, are dismissed.
I personally have witnessed such. We tried to get an order of protection against the "alleged" pedophile scum bag maggot who hurt our child....Mike Kelley hemmed and hawed around for nearly 8 weeks, and then lied to us about the whole thing....The cretin was arrested outside our home and was given a criminal trespass warning, an when he violated that, still nothing was done.... We even tried to file a pro se application for a protective order, but it didn't fly. A month later, he got to our child and did...
