I understand that the war was over in 2003. I also understand that the troop surge worked. I talked to a Corps of Engineers man last Tuesday. He said that a lot of things are being misstated in the media. There are more utilities for more people, NOT just Baghdad. Bagdhad is used to getting everthing for themselves so of course they will complain when they have to SHARE the power. My son is over in Iraq right now, doing an awesome job in Fallujah. After reading the newsletter for parents and families, the people are GLAD we are there. The children are happy when our men can give the children gifts such as a football or frisbee, or some other small toy. Christmas is coming. Maybe we should send toys to our men and women in uniform so they have something more to give to the Iraqi children...
