First and foremost, I mean no disrespect. Mam if you are a stay at home mom, have you ever considered home schooling? My daughter attends private school (where you pay for education) and I still find myself teaching and providing a lot of educational guidance. Sometimes not everything is handed to us. Many times as parents we have to go above and beyond. If your child is not receiving the education you feel is necessary..go elsewhere, or take the bull by the horns and handle it yourself. In the long run sitting around waiting for something to happen will not help your son, and yes he will get further behind. Stepping up to the plate is a small price to pay. It beats sitting around waiting and playing the blame game.
