Just like BJLewis, I’m from out of state too. However, I’ve never encountered driving like this in the other two states I lived in.
My only guess and justification would be…lack of driver’s training here?
I’m by far the best driver out there. However, I have a lot of complaints especially about Navarro Street. I know that I’m definitely not the only one. A lot of people I work with do their best to avoid it completely. I can’t. I made a blog a little while ago about it.
I’m really paranoid about driving down Constitution Street (off Main Street) because I don’t have a stop sign, and some drivers think it’s a 4-way stop. I’m guessing they expect me to stop, but I just slow down.
I won’t start on cell phones or brain challenged drivers who drive way too close up one’s rear. I would be here for a while.
