Lets see if I've got this right: The kid is scared of thunderstorms, so we are supposed to spend taxpayer money to send teachers out to his home where he can be safe with his 'mommy'?
Then we complain, and put it in the paper as 'news' when the instruction received from the teacher is not good enough, and we don't get enough 'face time' for the parent?
Here's the deal - special education funding only goes so far, and there are a lot of students with problems worse than thunderstorm boogey-man syndrome.
Deal with it. Get the kid back in school.
