Twocentsworth, Unless you have expereienced a phobia, you would not know how dibilitating it can be. And remember, this is a LITTLE CHILD we are talking about. The fear is REAL.
Yes, special education funding only goes so far but this child has the RIGHT to a FREE and APPROPRIATE Education (FAPE) under Federal Law. Maybe, just maybe, ADVOCACY INC. (an advocacy agency that represents the legal rights of the handicapped) needs to look into the needs of this child if VISD drops the ball.
