All teachers will be faced with the same thing at one time or another. All teachers should be prepared mentally, spiritually, and physically to just say "NO". Never be alone with a student, even in your room after school. Never write anything other than "Good Job" on a student's paper, AND Never work for an administrator that you don't trust. When YOU report the incident you want them to have your back.
If Colon even touched these girls, he needs serious help. If he crossed the line, as he himself said, his "life is over". I have never touched a student and I try not to even pat their backs. You can say "Good Job" and praise a student without contact. Shaking hands is ok.
