Well that's just GREAT! No, seriously........I am a native Texan, and though I'll pray for a couple of freak back to back Canadian blasts with an overrunning gulf or pacific low to surprise us all with enough white stuff for a couple of days to ski down closed overpasses, truth of the matter is that I look forward to warm Texas winters, and having the dogwoods blossom the first week in February. I live to ski from Christmas through Easter......but I know where the snow lives, and I'm content to drive out to N.M. for that and come home to bicycle/kayak weekends. Thanksgiving weekend was just a bit over the mark for cold & wet in my book! I like it just cold enough on occasion foor the mosquitoes to die off and the banana trees to live on............
