What people are unhappy about is that they falling behind with this administration in power. We were supposed to be close to paying off the national debt in a few of years, but under Bush our national debt has doubled with his useless wars. Most people are seeing their buying power diminish, see higher education becoming unaffordable, and national debt getting passed on to their kids. They see over 40 million Americans now without health insurance because it has become too expensive.
Yeah, Americans are "spoiled." Spoiled by rewards their hard work (and the work of their forefathers) has brought them, and they are seeing things get worse for them and their kids.
It's the direction of the country that has people annoyed.
