tstorm, I've just graduated from college. I will end up paying $100,000 in college debt. My television is a hand-me-down that's probably incapable of cable television once they make the switch to digital. My car has almost 100,000 miles on it, and if something were to go wrong or it was stolen, let me tell you, I'd be in a fix. I can't afford repairs, much less just go out and get a new one. Yes, I got a car for graduation. It was work $4K and I paid for a good portion of that with money I'd been saving since 4th grade.
