Regarding Jaynes, a letter the Advocate wouldn't print because it was received Sunday... It is SO COMICAL and sad that people are so convinced of Charlie Jaynes' motives and ethical fabric - only those that do NOT know him, of course.
At the tender age of 52 I am occasionally reminded exactly how naive I am.
I wholeheartedly support Charlie Jaynes in his bid for a seat on the VISD School Board. His character, intellect, honesty, and integrity have no equal. His passion for the children of Victoria and the welfare of those attending its schools is unmatched.
During the process of discussing my respect and support for Dr. Jaynes, I have heard, and read in this paper, allegations insinuating ulterior motives. I guess the presumption is that every candidate or office holder MUST have a hidden agenda.
