Giveitup: Your point #3 is totally ridiculous. I know some of these girls and their parents; all great people. BUT THEY WERE STANDING ON THE BUSIEST STREET IN VICTORIA WAIVING SIGNS...hello, you don’t think we wouldn’t recognize who they are? You guys showed your hand a little too early. Actually, I think that worked against the Jaynes campaign and I doubt we’ll see such again if a special election is needed. First, it reminded all the Keeling supporters that they needed to vote and secondly, it solidified the notion that Dr Jaynes does have an especially interested group in this race. Keeling supporters back her because they believe in her accomplishments and her proven track record. Transcripts from the League of Women Voter’s forum quoted Dr. Jaynes as saying he was running because of his grandchildren and he’s tired of the “squabbling that current exists on the board”.
