Again, I'm not going to take a side on the gay rights issue, but I would like to ask the following of the Victoria Advocate--
In the spirit of 'God loves everyone, but hates the sin', please do not publish any headlines on your front page that reveal that anyone has broken one of the Ten Commandments. No adultery, no murder, no thefts, no children disrespecting their parents, and so on.
I never want to see "Angry, Cursing Wife Kills Adulterous Husband with Stolen Candlestick while her Children Cheered".
This is so nutty! Why aren't you people being offended over the price of gas, the war, Oprah's goofiness, and other things? If someone's sexual orientation is the only thing that gets you fired up, you need to get out of the house more.
I am not endorsing a gay lifestyle. From what I have observed from my 50+ years on the planet is that it must be a very hard way to live. But I cannot understand how vocal some folks can get over an issue THAT DOES NOT CONCERN THEM....
