Wife of a pilot. Mother to 2 pilots-in-training (my 10-year-old knows more about pre-flighting a plane than I do!). Friend, photographer, writer, Harley lover, Mac girl. I'm a kick-*** massage therapist, too.  (I can't believe the Advocate CENSORED that word, hahaha!)

Grew up in Shiner, tooled around Victoria for 3 years, then moved on to the Great Liberal-ness that is Austin.  Moving from Victoria to Austin was like breaking the shackles and finding freedom; everyone's actually entitled to their opinions and beliefs here--even if they are the same as their neighbor's!  I'll always be a small-town gal at heart, though the idea of finding a small liberal-minded town is slowly turning into a pipe dream of mine.  Maybe if I just follow the first star to the right, straight on 'til morning...
