About Camille
I am a native of Victoria, returning here after about a 10 year hiatus in Austin. The number one question our friends asked when leaving Austin was, "Why are you leaving Austin to go to Victoria????" (And my husband still sometimes asks that question!) Well, if any of you know anything about being a parent, then you know that you don't get a lot of time to hang out in cool bars, go to nice restaurants or do much shopping for yourself. So we decided that being close to family would be a greater benefit - then we can leave our kids with the grandparents and vacation in Austin! Victoria has been great for raising two wonderful children with their 4 (about to be 5) cousins that also live in Victoria. My husband and I have been busier in Victoria than any of our friends from other places can imagine. It's a great community to get involved and make a difference. My photo was taken by my son when he was 7 yrs. old. It shows me and my best friend, Dan Easton, doing what we do best: hanging out together!
