About Leslie
I was in preschool when my beloved grandmother, then a Sunday school teacher, said: "Leslie, Jesus Christ could come down and introduce himself and you'd argue with him."
Yes, Nona, I'd need independent verification on that one. I'll call my sources in the Holy Spirit's office.
Some people try to fix personality faults. But I decided rather than become less argumentative and nosy, I'd become a journalist. That means I spend lots of haggling with people over what information they want to give me and what information they must give me, under the law. This blog will let readers peek at how we reporters gather information and how public officials provide it. You can also post your own records-request questions, problems or observations. And be sure to let me know when officials go out of their way to help you. Public servants need lovin' too!
