A South Carolina boy, born and raised, I moved to Victoria, Texas, in May 2008 to start working at the Advocate. I graduated from North Greenville University with a B.A. in print media.

I am not a sports fan, sadly enough. Some wonder how a guy from S.C. could grow up without loving sports. Suffice it to say, I never caught the sports "bug." Instead, I was interested in gadgets and games, taking things apart since I was six or seven.
