Life here's pretty good: low stress, friendly co-workers, government holidays (13 a year!). What more could a guy ask for? How's life at the Advocate? Has the newsroom recovered from the crushing depression my leaving caused?

David,

I don't know if you're aware of these sites for "real time" data about the water levels in the Guadalupe, but after the flood of '98, I monitor them every time there's a really heavy rainfall in the San Antonio area.

1.Victoria at Moody Street Bridge:http://waterdata.usgs.gov/t...

2.Bloomington:http://waterdata.usgs.gov/t...

3.Cuero:http://waterdata.usgs.gov/n...
