    Mitchell Andrew Franz was born in Yoakum, TX on May 30, 1990 to Steve and Julia Franz. Mitchell's parents divorced during his freshman year of high school. He has one sister, Meaghan, who is a senior at Texas A&M Corpus Christi studying Sports Management and working as at a supervisor level position with University Rec Sports. Mitchell is currently a senior at Yoakum High School ranked number 4 and a member of NHS and FCA.
    Mitchell's number on passion and hobby is photography. His soul fuels on photography. He is very active in the journalism program with positions such as Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper and Photography Editor of the Yearbook. Among his achievements as a photographer and journalist, Mitchell was named to the editorial staff as a freshman and became assistant editor of the newspaper his sophomore year. His junior year he beat a senior for the Editor-in-Chief position which he maintains today. Mitchell was named Top in Texas Sports Feature Photographer in the newspaper division his junior year and named to the All-State Journalism Staff. He has numerous awards in photography, page design, and sports feature writing through ILPC, the state's scholastic journalism association.
    Mitchell started his work experience in the journalism field after his freshman year when he was hired by the Yoakum Herald-Times. The next year (sophomore) in April he left the Herald-Times and freelanced a few assignments for the Victoria Advocate and one for the Brazosport Facts. In July 2006 Mitchell was picked up by the Advocate as a newsroom clerk performing such duties as obituaries, announcements, and press releases. During his time at the Advocate he began working in the Sports department also where he helped with agate and wrote the occasional article when needed. October 31, 2006 was Mitchell’s last day at the Victoria Advocate. He has been a contributor to the Advocate’s Genysis once called Teen Zone. Currently he photographs different sporting and school events, freelance assignments, portraits, and weddings.
    His blog will mainly contain adventures of his life and the things important to him. You might be surprised what you’ll find in his writing from a teen’s perspective on divorce to photography to life in general to why Hillary is wrong for the U.S. in ’08.
