I suspect my reply to Themis on my latest blog post about gay marriages may not exactly line up with Catholic teaching about the scale of various sins (i.e. venial and mortal)but I hope it may provide some understandable concepts for him to consider. When people challenge me about Christianity, I just assume they really may be seeking some answers so I try to take advantage of the opportunity. I know I'm not always very successful at clearly expressing myself about what I know and believe to be true and I find that to be annoying. I just keep plugging away anyhow, praying that I'm not doing more harm than good.

I think the Politically Correct term is "camera person" or alternatively, "camera user who may be a female, male, homosexual, lesbian, transgendered or still not sure individual of various ethnic backgrounds"

I saw your post where you mentioned the book "There is a God: How the World's Most Notorious Atheist Changed His Mind." by Antony Flew.
Another interesting one by a former atheist is "The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel.
The cover blurb calls it a Journalist's Personal Investigation of the Evidence for Jesus. It's a good read that provides "evidence" for Christ's existence an for who He said He was.
