About Harold
I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. I have lived in Alice, Austin, Galveston, & Victoria. I love to travel to Mexico every chance I get. I don't fit into any stereotypes, I'm a relentless critic, passionate appreciator of little things (especially the funny ones), great big brother, over protective godfather & loyal friend. I have strong convictions on social issues, and I'm much more into substance than style- though by default I may exude a bit of an eccentric style:) I'm passionate about ideas, art, family, music, books, coffee, desserts, incongruity, revolution, humor (especially satire), good looking women with brains (haven't dated any yet), fishing, film/documentaries. I'm trying to make time for my "secret projects" that will either change the world, undermine the establishment, make me more money, or most likely just continue to take up my time and alienate me from everyone lol. I'm a fun guy!

Sorry tex,
I've sat in on several of mr. Paul's local visits and I hate to tell you but he is not going to set the voters' interest on fire. He's a nice man and I'm glad that he's my Rep. but the best he can do is keep some important issues in front of the public. I hope he doesn't run as an independent in the presidential race, 'cause all he'll do is split enough conservative voters that Clinton will be a shoo-in.
As a VietNam vet i saw what happened when politics forced us to rapidly leave there - millions of people suffered. A precipitous withdrawal from Iraq as he is advocating will be an unmitigated disaster.
If I have to hold my nose to vote for someone as my only choice over Clinton or Obama I will. As I said before if Paul runs as an indy it will split the votes like it did when Carter ran and it will create a similar disaster.
