QUESTION FOR SANDCRABFORLIFE64

WHAT DOES THE 64 IN YOUR HANDLE INDICATE?
Class of 1964 or uniform number?
Also a big HECK YEAH to red rage.

thank you "rae" for making the comment about Coach Campbell. I find it totally childish to keep reporting on his record in california. Why do you care ? He's gone so let him be gone already. Focus on our vipers of NOW.

This comment doesn't have anything to do with vipers football game, but wanted to comment on this article. I don't quite understand the need for Mr. Slavik to "note" at the end of articles Coach Campbell's record in California. Let it go already. He is gone. We all know he needed to go and now he is gone, so let him be gone. If anyone is interested in finding out his record they can google it like I did. Focus on the present coaches and games the Vipers are playing. Okay, I feel better now. Thanks. lol

Ouch! That was a pretty rough trip to Corpus tonight.

Our defense looked good early, but then was pretty much exploited for the remainder of the game. The worst part of the game was when we marched downfield twice and couldn't find the endzone. I thought the refs missed a couple of big calls that could have changed the game a little, but I'm not about to say it would have allowed us to win. We continue to miss tackles and we obviously do not have the speed of some of the other teams. This was the first time I had seen Memorial fail to ever move the ball up the middle. Every time they tried it was a miserable failure.

I even think the refs screwed CC on one set of downs by giving us a 5th down. I'm pretty sure there was a mix up in our favor.

All in all it was a fairly poor display on the part of the vipers. Just not enough atheletes on the team. I'm not knocking anyone in particular, just stating the obvious. We have about 5 maybe 6 guys on defense that are in on every play.

Nite all

He's "little" Finley. Do you think they'll replace him? No

Vipers need a new defensive coordinator. Clint Finley can't even teach his defence to tackle. Plus he can't seem to make any in game adjustments. I hope the rumors aren't true that he is in line for a head coaching job at either of the new high schools.

Was Finley watching the same game I was when we were in the game against Southwest in the first half and then couldn't budge a yard in the second half against that Southwest defense...obviously someone in the district is playing defense...why don't we quick worrying about the district defenses and worry about OURS!

Yeah, Im still trying to remember the times we put Calhoun down LOL

I grew up in Victoria and went to Victoria HS. I don't remember anyone talking smack about Calhoun...or even caring about Calhoun at all. Our rival was Stroman and CC Carroll. We talked smack to THEM, but never Calhoun.

I think living in Victoria I would know if we were always putting down Calhoun.

Come On. What type of Sandcrab are you? I would like to say a special thanks to the Sandcrab students that stayed during a UIL Marching Band competition to watch Memorial perform this last weekend. This is truely what 'hometown' spirit and support is. We may be from different towns (same area) but we still want to see every local team excel to the best of their ability. Enough of the trash talking, start acting like a grownup!!!

So childish. I have never seen Memorial put down Calhoun.

Are you an adult? I'd expect this from a TEENAGER but not an adult.
