I keep reading all the slams against Tyler because of his request for the original documents and the accusations that he is going to destroy or lose them however noone has pointed out another reason for the request and the suspicious behaviour of the VPD. I've requested several documents from the VPD that could discredit charges brought by the former DA which originated from the VPD, only to get stonewalled by the city attorney. The few I got were edited at the city attorney's instructions. The rest were flat out denied. I asked a few of the local attorneys and they reported that this was common practice in Victoria. I personally know who was being protected and why in my case. What are the city attorneys and the VPD hiding from the public and the DA?

I have a response to someone making comments to a different story, but oddly enough this seems to be the only place you can post comments. Question for the person known as "Bundy": It doesn't say anywhere in the charges nor any article published in the paper that the defendant didn't point the gun at the victim. How did you come to that conclusion? There are actually only two people who would know that to be fact or not.

Heres a novel idea justiceforall.
Why doesn't Ratcliff just take a lie detector test and clear his name? Instead of racing to hire a lawyer and going into hiding, if he's so innocent, I would think he would be standing on every street corner pronouncing his innocence. Yes, yes, I know, Lie detector tests aren't legal! Even though, I think it would help prove his innocence if nothing else. Anyway it's an idea.

Well we can forget all the other links to topics and just use this one. Such as...
Public trust ...
In regards to public trust, based on the events happening in our city (DA -vs- Police/Sherrif Department) I think the trust was collapsing before the citizens even had a chance to weigh in their opinions. It will only get worse, especially if others besides Ratcliff are drug into this nightmare. Trust??? How in the hell can we trust anyone.
