Time will show that this man has more dirt and blood on his hands than what we know! He was a snake when he was in office and he still is. I would be willing to bet there is other stuff that has been hidden with this man for sure!

I spoke too soon! www.myvictoriaonline.comVictoria's dirty laundry will hopefully get a MUCH needed airing out! My hats off to the brave souls serving on the grand jury! This is not an easy task before them. Now all we need is a prosecutor from the outside world.

The wagons are circling in downtown Victoria and they are circling tight. Someone is just going to make this all go away. Just like it always does for those in power and of influence in Victoria.

He will get a special prosecutor. It just takes time. Tyler's not about to try him.

Great comment Shurlee!
But seriously, I don't see any justice being served in this case unless Mr. Tyler gets an ego innoculation and requests a special prosecutor to try the case and requests a change of venue. (too bad the old discussion boards went bye bye... Mr. Tyler had his email address up on one) As I've said in a post on another thread: If Tyler won't ask for a special prosecutor, and gets an aquittal, he will be ousted from office before the ink is dry on the verdict. If he tries the case and gets a guilty verdict, Those in the Ratcliff camp will raise a hue and cry that will reverberate for years to come! The case will go to appeal after appeal and all at the taxpayers of Victoria's expense..... Then again, maybe that's what Tyler's game plan is... to try the case, get a guilty verdict, and wait for the appeallate process! Who knows? But that is just speculation and I was told by a good friend not to speculate on this case.

justiceforAll said ... He has not gone to trial yet and is innocent until proven guilty. Your comments are uncalled for. How dare you deny him due process of law!

justiceforAll,
>"How dare you deny him due process of law!"<
He hasn't been denied due process - his case has been thru' the grand jury and will now go to trial.
Taking him out and stringing him up from the nearest tree without a trial would be denying him "due process".
It would be better for ALL concerned, including Ratcliff, Tyler, the victim and the citizens of this city and county if there were a change of venue and a special prosecutor were named (by the State and not Tyler -sorry , the DA has lost the confidence of too many people). That would mean, however, that fans and detractors alike would likely miss out ont the opportuinity to attend the trial.

You know why they "dare"? Because this is American and we have freedom of speech. We are allowed to "dare". And, yes, in America a person is presumed to be innocent until proven guilty. But what we don't do in America is something you just tried with your post: scare people off by being a bully with words. So save your "how dare you"s. Don't think it's going to work on people around here.
