This weekend many of you will be spending time with your mothers. I will be at the cemetery visiting my mother. You see she died in 2002 of cancer. I want to tell you what made my mom so special to me and my entire family. My mom was a very colorful person and I mean that literarly. She wore some of the most bright and colorful outfits and made it work for her. She had a heart that was kind and considerate. She was there for you when you needed her, even if you did not think you needed her at the time. She had a vibrant spirit and astounded the doctors up until the time of her death. She loved deep and it was pure. She could be head strong and stubborn. My mom found out that she had cancer in May of 2002. She died in my arms as I cried and told her I loved her in November of 2002. So when you go see your mom this weekend realize that life is special and so is she.
