My mother's mother was Ola Pearl Haywood! She had 11 children and made a good home for Walker Hayood, my grandfather all her married life. She got up at the crack of dawn every morning and made fresh buttermilk biscuits, eggs and salt bacon for my grandfather. Those biscuits were a wonder!...
