Natalie Ann Schneider and Jonathan Richard Gard, both of Austin, were married at 2:30 p.m. on December 10, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Rev. John Peters of Hallettsville and Pastor Neil Rogers of Midland officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Schneider of Hallettsville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Greer, and Ms. Judith Schneider and the late Alvin Schneider, all of Hallettsville.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Dwight Gard of Lubbock. He is the grandson of Ms. Winona Williamson and the late Haskel Williamson of Odessa, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Gard of El Paso.
Amanda Echols and Kristin Bulanek attended as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Shandlyn Koehne, Meagen Appling, Morgan McKinney, Caryn Bland, Holly Dornak Haas, Alix Gard, Anna Gallia. Lila Echols attended as flower girl.
David Gard and Andrew Gard served as best men. Groomsmen were Kevin Young, Bryan Day, Layne Mayfield, Lane Bartley, Aubrey Thomas, Jonathan Schneider, and Josh Rachner.
Ushers were Joey Yates, David Klein, Blaze Butler, and Brady McElroy. Acolytes were Kyle and William Pettus.
A reception was held at The Kocian Building in Hallettsville. The couple will honeymoon in Kauai and Maui, Hawaii, and will reside in Austin.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Hallettsville High School and a 2009 graduate of The University of Texas McCombs School of Business with a Bachelor's degree in Finance. She is employed by Sense Corp Consulting of St. Louis, Missouri as a Functional Consultant and Business Analyst.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Lubbock Monterey High School and a 2008 graduate of The University of Texas McCombs School of Business with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and minor in Management Information Systems. He is employed by Sense Corp Consulting of St. Louis, Missouri as a Technical Consultant and Data Architect.
