Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Jurena of Hallettsville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Renee, to William Brenden Morris of Cuero. Brenden is the son of the late William Perry Morris of Port Lavaca and the late Kelly Hogan of Providence, RI. He is the nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Batts of Cuero.
Kimberly is the granddaughter of Frances Jurena and the late Frank A. Jurena of Yoakum, and the late Frank V. and Rose Lee Henke of Hallettsville. Brenden is the grandson of Betty Morris and the late William Bennett Morris of Port Lavaca, and Bert Batts and the late Arzelia Batts of Victoria.
Kimberly graduated from Hallettsville High School in 2005. She earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in College Station in interdisciplinary studies. She is employed with the Victoria Independent School District and teaches fourth grade at Torres Elementary School. Brenden graduated from Cuero High School in 2005. He earned his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in Kingsville with a major in industrial technology engineering and a minor in business administration. Brenden works as a superintendent for Weaver and Jacobs Constructors, Inc. out of Cuero.
The couple will wed on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cuero. A reception will follow at The Venue in Cuero.
